The tournament witnessed the superiority of the athletes from Hanoi, the Army, etc.
The 77 kg weight class Gold Medal went to Nguyen Cong Manh (Army), contributing to the Army team winning first place overall in the men's freestyle event.
In the classic event, the Hanoi delegation showed impressive form with 4 Gold medals, 4 Silver medals and 5 Bronze medals winning first place overall.
At the same time, the Hanoi team also finished second in the women's freestyle event, while the first place overall belonged to the Thua Thien - Hue team.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in coordination with the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Vietnam and the Vietnam figure Federation, gathering more than 250 talented athletes from 18 localities across the country to participate in the classics and free events for men and women, in the form of a knockout round; starting from March 5.
