On March 5, the Vietnam figure Federation coordinated with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the opening ceremony of the 2025 National figurehead - Free figurehead Club Championship, taking place at the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Sports and Physical Training Gymnasium.
The tournament attracted 250 athletes from 18 provinces, cities and sectors across the country to participate. The athletes will compete in the classical weight categories, free events for men and women, in the form of a knockout round.
According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament is not only an opportunity for athletes to compete, exchange, learn and accumulate experience, but also an opportunity for specialized agencies to review their forces and select excellent athletes to add to the national team.
The tournament is also an opportunity to promote the martial arts spirit of the Vietnamese people to tourists and people, stimulate tourism as well as promote the image of the locality.
With the martial arts spirit and the dedication of the athletes, the tournament promises to bring fierce and dramatic competitions; taking place from March 5 to March 11.
