On March 18, the 2025 National Beaches Youth Championship and Championship held in Vung Tau held the closing ceremony, awarding prizes to the athletes and groups with high achievements.
On the final day of competition, female do thi Pham Thi Huyen Trang (Ha Nam) excellently surpassed Ha Thi Thanh Phuong (Phu Tho) to win the Gold medal in the weight class over 80kg.
Ngo Van Lam (Army) won by a large margin against Bui Manh Thuong (Hanoi) to win the Gold Medal in the men's 90 kg weight class; Hoang Van Nam (Hai Phong) surpassed Vu Van Hao (Cong An) to win the Gold Medal in the men's 90 kg weight class.
In the final round of the men's events, the Hanoi team ranked first overall with 5 Gold medals, 5 Silver medals and 9 Bronze medals.
The second place overall will belong to the Army team; and the third place will belong to Hai Phong.
In the final round of the women's events, the Hue delegation ranked first overall with 4 Gold medals, 3 Silver medals and 4 Bronze medals. The second place overall will belong to the Army team; and the third place will belong to Ha Nam.
According to the Organizing Committee, this year's tournament was a great success with the participation of nearly 350 fighters and athletes from 26 participating units; the organization in the public area has successfully attracted a large audience to observe and watch the tournament take place, with fierce competition matches.
