The tournament gathered 8 participating teams including: AE-ECOM FC, HE FC, VPBank FC, Hung Thinh FC, Gia Phat FC, Amac FC, Cuong Phuc Mobile FC and The Friends FC. The teams are divided into 2 pounds, each team 4 teams, competing in one round to select 2 teams in the semi -finals of Serie A. The two teams ranked 3rd and 4 will play the semi -finals of Serie B.
Each team is allowed to register a maximum of 25 players, and cannot replace or add players throughout the tournament. In particular, in order to create a healthy playground for grassroots players, the organizing committee prohibits teams from registering players who have competed in professional tournaments as well as highly competitive grassroots tournaments such as SPL and HPL.
In addition, players who have been reported playing roughly through videos will not be allowed to participate. Notably, VAR will be applied to all matches - a rare professional highlight in amateur tournaments.
The draw results, Group A include the teams He FC, Gia Phat FC, VPBank FC, AE-ECOM FC. Meanwhile, Group B is the presence of Amac FC, Cuong Phuc Mobile FC, Hung Thinh FC, The Friends FC.
Regarding the prize structure, the organizing committee will award cups, flags, medals and 5 million VND in prize money to the champion team. The second place team received 3 million VND and the third place team received 2 million VND. As scheduled, the tournament will take place from May 11 to June 1 at PM Sports Soccer field (Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City).
