The tournament is organized by the Vietnam National Federation of Baseball and Softball. In the group stage, the team of the Vietnam People's Police Sports Association won 3 matches and suffered 1 defeat, ranking second in Group A to qualify for the semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, the People's Police baseball club made a mark when defeating the reigning champion of 2025 Hanoi Archers to participate in the championship match. Although unable to win in the final, the team still closed the tournament as runner-up.
This is a continuation of the stable results of the People's Police baseball club in the highest playground of Vietnamese baseball. Previously, the team won the championship in 2024, won third place in 2025 and runner-up in 2026.
Established with the orientation of developing baseball in a systematic direction, the People's Police Baseball Club is directly under the Vietnam People's Police Sports Association. In recent years, the team has gradually built forces, participated in regular competitions and maintained achievements in the leading group in national tournaments.
According to the team representative, the results at this year's tournament are a motivation for the coaching staff and athletes to continue to improve professional quality, towards higher goals in the coming seasons, and at the same time contribute to promoting the development of the domestic baseball movement.
