On August 30, the 18th Becamex Group football tournament is taking place with excitement in the final match of the qualifying round.
This is the 18th grassroots football tournament organized by Becamex Group. This tournament is one of the major grassroots playgrounds in the country, attracting thousands of players from the Ho Chi Minh City area to participate. The purpose of the tournament is to improve the health of workers, connect businesses and develop the sports movement.
This year's tournament has a record number of 196 participating teams, with nearly 5,000 amateur players from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces and cities.
The participating teams are divided into 4 clusters of qualifying courts to select the 16 strongest teams to participate in the final round. After merging Binh Duong with Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh City, the tournament will have an additional qualifying round at the Ho Chi Minh City stadium cluster (VSIP 1 Industrial Park). In this stadium cluster, 4 teams will qualify for the final round.
The Ho Chi Minh City Police team has successfully passed 6 group stage matches to qualify for the final round of the tournament.
