On May 23, at the Football Field of Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture Campus 2, Vo Van Hat Elementary School in coordination with Dang Phuc Football Center organized the program "Joyful Day with Football", attracting nearly 300 students to participate.
The highlight of the event is the appearance of former Vietnamese futsal player Nguyen Minh Tri. The player born in 1996 is considered one of the typical faces of Vietnamese futsal when he participated in two futsal World Cups in 2016 and 2021.
In his playing career, Nguyen Minh Tri and Thai Son Nam club won many domestic titles, including 9 national championships and 5 National Cups. He is also the owner of the Vietnam Futsal Golden Ball in 2020.
Besides Nguyen Minh Tri, the program also has the participation of former Hoang Anh Gia Lai player Nguyen Dang Phuc - currently the CEO of Dang Phuc Football Center, artistic ball juggling athlete Pham Trong Thy and representatives of sponsors.
At the festival, students were able to interact, take photos with guests, participate in mini-football matches, try their hand at many physical games and receive gifts from the organizers. The exciting atmosphere lasted throughout the morning with the enthusiastic response of children and parents.
Sharing at the event, Principal of Vo Van Hat Elementary School - Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Hoang said that the school is very happy that the program continues to receive the attention and support of parents and students. She assessed that this is a useful playground, contributing to encouraging children to exercise and nurture their passion for sports.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Minh Tri expressed his impression of the enthusiastic spirit of the students. He expects such activities to be maintained regularly, helping children have more opportunities to exercise, improve their health and limit the time of using electronic devices.
