Hai Yen badminton tournament enters the final round with more than 800 athletes

On January 16, more than 800 athletes from 90 clubs inside and outside the province officially entered the competition at the final round of the Hai Yen Badminton Tournament 2025.

The tournament is organized by Hai Yen Sports Co., Ltd., is the final stage in the Hai Yen badminton tournament system including 3 qualifying rounds and one final round.

According to the regulations of the organizers, athletes must reach a minimum floor score of 1,360 points through qualifying tournaments in 2025 to be eligible to participate in the decisive round.

This organizational method contributes to ensuring screening, improving professional quality and creating substantive competition among players.

Right on the first day of competition, the matches took place soi noi in many contents, with thick competition density and uniform professional quality.

The tournament recorded more than 1,000 registrations, gathering not only outstanding amateur players in many age groups but also the participation of some athletes who have competed professionally such as Pham Hong Nam, Dinh Phuong Hong, Luong Tuan Huy, Nguyen Xuan Manh, Vu Thi Chinh,... contributing to improving the level and attractiveness of the tournament.

One of the highlights of the final round of the Hai Yen Badminton Tournament 2025 is the application of technology to organization and operation such as implementing the stages of drawing lots, dividing tables, scheduling competitions and updating results in real time.

Digitizing competition data helps improve transparency and accuracy, while supporting the work of statistics and systematically assessing athletes' qualifications.

The tournament has a total prize value of more than 400 million VND, professionally managed by General Referee Nguyen Quang Kieu Khuyen. Refereeing and officiating work are deployed synchronously to ensure fairness, safety and compliance with competition rules.

Hai Yen badminton tournament aims not only to create a playground for competition but also to contribute to connecting clubs, promoting the badminton movement to develop in a professional and sustainable direction.

With an increasingly expanded organizational scale and methodical approach, the tournament is gradually affirming its position as one of the typical amateur badminton tournament systems in Vietnam.
