The tournament has 250 athletes participating, divided into 5 groups of different years of birth. Accordingly, group I had a year of birth from 20152017, group II: 20132014, group III: 20112012, group IV: 20092010, group V: 20072008.
Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, said: In recent times, the mass sports movement in Ca Mau province has continued to develop and spread among the people and has been responded to by the people, choosing a suitable sport for themselves to participate in regular practice, improve health, and prevent disabilities. The good news is that the movement has spread very widely, with many components and ages participating, including adolescents and children.
This summer, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province will organize 2 youth talent tournaments; including badminton and football tournaments. Through the tournament, to spread the love of sports, search for and select talented athletes to have a training plan and choreography in the coming time.
The tournament took place from June 13 to 15 at the Sports Gymnasium, Center for Sports Training and Competition of Ca Mau province, Hamlet 2, Ward 9, Ca Mau city.
