The 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Open Business - Business Tennis Tournament will take place over two days, October 4 and 5, at the Becamex Stadium cluster (Ho Chi Minh City), gathering more than 80 amateur tennis players.

This is the first time the tournament has been organized by Saigon Business Magazine in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Tennis - Pickleball Federation (HTF). According to the organizers, although the pickleball movement is developing strongly, many players still maintain their passion and habit of practicing tennis. The presence of a large number of athletes this time shows that grassroots tennis still retains the appeal and value of an Olympic sport.

Among the players participating are many familiar faces such as Vuong Quyen, Le Phi Hung, Thai Tuan Kieu, Mai Thanh Chung, Do Van Luy, Nguyen Minh Canh or Duong Thanh Ba. They all affirmed that they are still persistent in sticking with tennis, considering it not only a physical exercise but also a spiritual joy.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu My - General Secretary of HTF assessed that having more than 80 tennis players participating in the first season is a positive signal. This proves that the business community and amateur tennis players still have a lot of affection for tennis, and are willing to stay with the sport for a long time, she said.

This year's tournament has four competition events including men's doubles and over 55 years old, men's doubles 45-55 years old (played on October 4), men's doubles under 45 years old and men's doubles women's doubles (played on October 5). More than half of the players are businessmen, about 15 players are from the press and nearly 20 players are female. The organizing committee has arranged a suitable group, promising to bring many exciting matches.

The event also has the meaning of celebrating the 80th anniversary of Uncle Ho's letter to the business community (October 13, 1945 - October 13, 2025), the 21st anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2025), and raising funds to support people in the Central region affected by natural disasters.
