After 3 successful events, in 2025, the 4th Traditional Wrestling Competition of the Mac Dynasty will continue to be held as a legacy, continuing the unique folk festival that was initiated and taught by the late Emperor Mac Dang Dung 5 centuries ago. Thereby, arousing the martial spirit and strong will of our ancestors, educating the tradition of patriotism and training the health of the younger generation. This is also an opportunity to honor the historical and cultural values of the Mac Dynasty, connecting the community and promoting local tourism development.
This year's competition will be held from February 8-10, 2025 (ie January 11-13, At Ty year). The opening ceremony will be held on February 9; the final round and the wrestling competition for the title of Do Luc Si will be held on February 10 at the National Historical and Cultural Relic of the Temple of the Mac Dynasty Kings (Mac Family Temple), Kien Hung Commune, Kien Thuy District, Hai Phong.
The competition includes 2 events: men's wrestling (8 weight classes) and women's wrestling (2 weight classes). The competition applies the competition rules issued by the Vietnam Wrestling Federation in 2021.
