According to Resolution No. 1232/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Hai Phong city in the period of 2023 - 2025, effective from January 1, 2025, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly resolved to arrange An Duong district, Hong Bang district and affiliated commune-level administrative units; establish An Duong district and affiliated wards.
The conference announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the organization of district-level police, Hai Phong City on the establishment of An Duong District Police and the decisions of the City Police Director on the arrangement and transfer of staff.
An Duong District Police also organized the handover of decisions on personnel work to 33 commanders of teams and police stations under An Duong District Police. Of which, 10 police stations under An Duong District Police were arranged to be established, including police stations of An Dong, An Hoa, Dong Thai, Hong Thai, Hong Phong, Le Thien, Le Loi, Nam Son, Tan Tien and An Hai wards.
On the same day, Kien An District Police organized the announcement of decisions on personnel work. According to Decision No. 9114/QD-BCA dated December 13, 2024 of the Minister of Public Security on the arrangement and consolidation of the Commune/Ward Police, Hai Phong City, Bac Ha Ward Police was established on the basis of merging Phu Lien Ward Police and Trang Minh Ward Police; dissolving Quan Tru Ward Police, Lam Ha Ward Police to merge into Dong Hoa Ward Police. The decision takes effect from January 1, 2025.
