Hundreds of martial arts students compete at the Da Nang Youth Taekwondo Championship

Da Nang - The 2025 Youth Taekwondo Club Tournament brings together nearly 400 martial artists to compete enthusiastically for 3 days.

On September 19, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City opened the Da Nang Youth Taekwondo Club (CLB) Tournament in 2025. This is an attractive and useful playground for athletes from Taekwondo clubs in the city.

The tournament brings together nearly 400 athletes from 31 clubs, competing in three age groups I, II and III. The martial artists competed in many weight categories and age groups in two competitions and boxing, creating an exciting and intense atmosphere right from the first matches.

Not only a sports playground, the Da Nang Youth Taekwondo Tournament also contributes to spreading the spirit of martial arts, training will and confidence for students. The tournament is expected to take place over 3 days (September 19 - 21), and will end with exciting finals and a medal awarding ceremony for the best martial artists.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tao Viet Hai - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang - said that the Youth Taekwondo tournament of the city's clubs contributes to diversifying sports tournaments. The professional quality of the tournament has been improved when many matches took place dramatically and attractively, attracting a large audience to watch and cheer.

"Taekwondo is one of the city's main sports. Regarding movement activities, since the establishment of the City Taekwondo Federation, it has contributed to building an increasingly developed movement, operating in a systematic and disciplined manner. This is the basis for Taekwondo in the city to develop more strongly in the future," said Mr. Hai.
