Over 27.5 billion VND from the race to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Binh Duong

On the morning of May 18, the opening ceremony of the "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Binh Duong province in 2025" race took place in Binh Duong province.

The running tournament attracted more than 11,000 athletes inside and outside Binh Duong province to participate. The event aims to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, the Party Congress at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, and mobilizing the entire people to practice sports, contributing to improving the quality of life and spreading the spirit of solidarity in the community.

This year's running tournament is organized by the People's Committee of Binh Duong province with three distances: 3km, 5km and 10km, taking place excitingly on modern roads in Binh Duong New City. In addition to the sports element, the tournament also has a deep humanity when the entire donation activities from the program are used to help delete temporary houses and dilapidated houses for difficult households in the province. At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee has received more than 27.5 billion dong from individuals, organizations and businesses.

The opening ceremony was attended by leaders of Binh Duong province and departments, branches, sectors, along with sponsors and accompanying units. In particular, Mr. Cao Van Chong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province, who is also the Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, actively coordinated the organization and operation of the program.

With experience and enthusiasm in grassroots activities, Mr. Cao Van Chong is considered one of the important factors contributing to the success of this year's tournament.
