On October 30, the opening ceremony of "Southern Cuisine Space 2025" and the tourism exhibition "Vinh Long - convergence Land - One route, three destinations" took place within the framework of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week to celebrate the Ooc Om Boc Festival 2025.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province emphasized that the event is of great significance in preserving and promoting the value of the national intangible cultural heritage of the Khmer people.
The event aims to honor and promote the unique cultural, culinary and tourism beauty of the Southern region, arouse pride in national identity, while creating a bridge for exchange, promoting tourism development cooperation between localities, businesses and tourists.

This year's Southern culinary space brings together 40 stalls with many typical delicious dishes, reflecting the culture of the Kinh - Hoa - Khmer exchange in Vinh Long.
In particular, outstanding dishes that have set records in Asia and Vietnam include 222 coconut dishes, 100 dishes from Binh Tan sweet potatoes, 102 dishes from Ky jelly, along with specialties such as Ben Co banh canh, Tra Cuon banh tet, vermicelli with broth, and coconut jelly.
The tourism exhibition space attracted 12 booths displaying products, culinary culture and tourism in the South, an opportunity for businesses inside and outside the province to exchange, promote images, share experiences, and link to develop tourism.
"I request that units ensure security, order, fire safety, environmental sanitation and food, and actively exchange and share experiences," Ms. Dung emphasized this content.
