On June 4, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province coordinated with the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Vietnam to organize the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Youth Archery Championship in Vung Tau City.
This year, there are more than 200 athletes from 20 provinces, cities and sectors across the country participating in the tournament, competing in the formats of single-string and tri-string at different distances and ages. The players with high achievements in the tournament will be awarded medals, certificates, and military uniforms according to regulations.
According to the Organizing Committee, the purpose of organizing the tournament in order to continue responding to the campaign "The entire population trains the body in the example of the great Uncle Ho" in the province, contributing to the development of the movement to exercise and improve health.
At the same time, check the qualifications, training, and competition ability of youth athletes in localities. Through that, searching for and developing young talents for the future of Archery. Notably, this is the first time the tournament officially organized to compete in the U18 age group, demonstrating the determination to build a promising generation of young athletes.
According to the plan, the tournament will take place at Lam Son Stadium (Vung Tau City) from June 4 to June 11.
