On January 2, at Nha Trang University, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with other units to launch the online sports campaign "Millions of Kind Steps - Continuing the Golden History" in 2025.
Mr. Phan Dinh Huan - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society - informed that the campaign "Million steps of kindness - Continuing the golden history" in 2025 is the second running and walking campaign launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
The program will be implemented from November 23, 2024 to April 28, 2025 with the goal of attracting 200,000 participants on the V-Race online platform, conquering a distance of 5 million km.
Each 1km of the participant will contribute 1,000 VND to the fund and the goal is to raise 5 billion VND. All funds collected from the campaign will be used to organize a charity Tet market; provide free medical examinations, medicine and gifts to 10,000 people affected by natural disasters, the poor, victims of Agent Orange, and people with disabilities; and provide nutritional support for 5,000 poor and disabled children.
In Khanh Hoa, the campaign “Million steps of kindness - continuing the golden history” was launched with the goal of mobilizing 5,000 participants to conquer a distance of 80,000 to 100,000 km.
At the launching ceremony, the leaders of Khanh Hoa Red Cross Society called on youth union members, students, Khanh Hoa residents, tourists... to register to participate in the campaign at the channels: https://vrace.com.vn/ or download the vRace application and select the event "Millions of steps of kindness - Continuing the golden history".
On this occasion, the campaign's Organizing Committee awarded 5 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) to 5 students from Nha Trang University with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies.
