Along with that, develop a plan and roadmap to ensure the completion of the organization and apparatus arrangement of the local government before February 20, 2025 according to the deadline required by the Government Steering Committee.
In addition, the consolidation, merger, transfer of functions, tasks, powers, and arrangement of internal organizational structure must be carried out according to the direction of the Central Government and the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province.
At the same time, draft a decision regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the agency for the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to promulgate immediately after receiving unified instructions from the Government.
Departments, branches and sectors that are not subject to consolidation, merger or adjustment of functions and tasks but have arranged internal organizational structures, propose plans to reduce at least 15% of the number of internal organizational units in accordance with the situation and characteristics of each agency.
The list of departments, agencies and sectors not subject to merger includes the Department of Justice, Department of Industry and Trade, Provincial Inspectorate, Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board, Development Project Management Board, Khanh Hoa University, Khanh Hoa Medical College, Nha Trang College of Technology.
For public service units under the Provincial People's Committee, propose a plan to restructure the organizational structure to reduce at least 15% of the number of internal units.
Khanh Hoa Radio and Television Station presided over and coordinated with Khanh Hoa Newspaper to develop a project to merge Khanh Hoa Radio and Television Station and Khanh Hoa Newspaper at the request of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee.
Districts, towns and cities complete the project to rearrange the organization of specialized agencies and public service units in the area according to the direction of the Steering Committee on summarizing the implementation of Resolution 18-NQ/TW of the Government.
The Department of Home Affairs is responsible for coordinating with the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to complete the plan to reorganize the local government apparatus according to the direction of the Steering Committee on summarizing the implementation of Resolution 18 of the Government to synthesize in the province's general plan and report to the Steering Committee.
