Recently, Kien Giang Provincial Police organized the finals and closed the 2025 Provincial Police Pickleball tournament.
Previously, on May 17, Kien Giang Provincial Police held a Pickleball Club Launch Ceremony and opened a Pickleball tournament in the Provincial Police towards the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
The tournament attracted the participation of nearly 100 athletes from units under the Provincial Police and Commune-level Police to compete in 4 events.
Colonel Le Van Quy - Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Security - said: This is the first time Pickleball - Sports combines tennis, badminton and table tennis organized in Kien Giang police force, marking a positive start in the physical training and sports movement throughout the force. The matches took place in the exciting, solidarity, with a noble and honest sports spirit. The athletes have devoted many beautiful balls, coordinated well, expressed their will, flexibility and determination to play with the highest results.
The 2025 Pickleball Tournament not only creates a vibrant competitive atmosphere, improves physical strength and at the same time inspects and evaluates the sports movements of the Police of units and localities. Thereby, selecting outstanding athletes for the provincial police teams to compete in tournaments organized by the Ministry of Public Security and the province.
This activity also aims to develop and promote the physical exercise movement in the entire force, contributing to the excellent completion of the task of protecting security and order in the province.
