On June 11, in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Newspaper in collaboration with Asia Group Joint Stock Company held a press conference on the Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2025 Sports and off-road race.
The Victory Challenge Sailun Cup sports and mountain race, held for the first time in the Central Coast region, promises to bring a dramatic and challenging playground to the mountain community.
According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament will take place from June 18 to 22, at 2 locations of Dac Loc Lake and the beach in Hon Do area - Pham Van Dong street, Nha Trang city.
There are currently 80 teams competing in 5 competition categories including: Professional, Upgraded, Basic Semi- tai, Main SUV and Camping. The teams will perform more than 50 exams, taking place continuously for 5 days. The competition structure is designed to comprehensively exploit vehicle control skills.
Ms. Thai Thi Le Hang - Head of the tournament organizing committee informed that after 1 year of preparation, this is the first time a large-scale sports car race has been held in Khanh Hoa with the longest competition period ever.
The competition locations were carefully selected to meet technical requirements as well as safety and difficulty for the teams to implement. In particular, the beach in Hon Do area, Pham Van Dong street will be the place where the audience will directly watch the high-tech performances of the runners from the natural terrain of gravel, mud and steep hills, creating ideal conditions for fierce competitions.
This year's tournament, all 5 categories are required to pass the Twilight Zone (TZ) exam instead of just focusing on professional and upgrading categories as usual.
The TZ route is arranged with many large blocks of stone blocking the route, very few natural anchor points, mainly overlapping clusters of stone, forcing athletes to calculate carefully in each movement operation. And each category will have a separate TZ song version suitable for the nature of each category.
Not just a sports tournament, the Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2025 also aims to build a strong, united and developed off-road vehicle community with a long-term, sustainable orientation. At the same time, he affirmed that Khanh Hoa is an attractive destination and potential to organize new types of tourism sports.
