This is a practical activity to successfully celebrate the 1st Hai Phong City Party Congress, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; at the same time, responding to the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".
The tournament brings together 23 delegations with more than 500 athletes who are students, youth union members from Vovinam clubs inside and outside the ward. Athletes compete in many events such as: individual competition, team competition, direct competition... according to Vovinam Law issued by the General Department of Physical Education and Sports.
Before the opening ceremony, in the morning of the same day, there were exciting and attractive qualifying matches, demonstrating the spirit of martial arts, the will to practice and youth.
At the end of the first day of competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 40 sets of medals for the competition events. The tournament will continue until October 5 with competition, award ceremony and closing ceremony.
The first Vovinam Open Tournament in Tu Minh Ward in 2025 is an opportunity for athletes to exchange, learn, affirm the spirit of "Studying Martial Arts in Vietnam - loving Vietnam", contributing to spreading the sports movement following the example of great Uncle Ho, improving health and fostering patriotism and solidarity in the community, especially the younger generations.
