With the theme "Vietnamese Martial Arts - Connecting Peace", the Ho Chi Minh City International Martial Arts Festival will take place from November 21 to 23, focusing on activities taking place on November 22 and 23, at Nguyen Hue walking street. The event was organized under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Sports Training and Competition Center.
This year, the event continues to attract a large number of foreign martial arts troupes such as Korea, China, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, India... along with more than 15 domestic troupes, affirming the increasingly widespread influence of the Vietnamese martial arts movement.
The festival has the appearance of typical Vietnamese martial arts such as Vovinam, Tan Khanh Ba Tra, Tay Son Binh Dinh, Hong Gia Quoc Cement. In addition, famous international martial arts such as Taekwondo, Karate, Muay, hapkido, ... were also performed to martial arts fans watching the event.
Each unit is registered for 3 performances (single, simultaneous or simultaneous). The top 10 will perform the final night on the main stage of Le Loi Street, selecting the top 5 to win the official award.
International delegations also brought their own mark through performances rich in identity, such as Arnis - a famous martial arts regiment of the Philippines; tarung Derajat full of power and charisma from Indonesia; or Sqay - a unique martial art sport of India. Each performance reflects the spirit, culture and fighting techniques of each country.
Sharing at the event, the leader of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee said that the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City International Martial Arts Festival is even more meaningful when contributing to affirming a united - dynamic - integrated - creative Ho Chi Minh City, always ready to expand cooperation with friends around the world.
This year, the Festival is not only a playground for martial arts lovers, but also a space for international cultural exchange, where the quintessence of Vietnamese martial arts is connected with many unique martial arts schools in the world.
