Initial information, at about 15, on November 21, on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway, in the direction from Dong Nai to Lam Dong (Cam My Commune, Dong Nai Province), a series of accidents occurred between 5 cars, including a truck carrying relief goods on its way to Dak Lak (old Phu Yen Province) to support people in flooded areas.
At that time, a truck with a HCMC license plate carrying relief goods was traveling from Dong Nai to Lam Dong when it collided with a car traveling in the same direction, then overturned across the road. After that, a 16-seat passenger car running on the Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet route, a container trailer and a 7-seat car running behind could not avoid the time, causing a series of collisions.
At the scene, the truck carrying relief goods overturned, water from the stream and instant noodles immediately poured onto the road. The accident did not cause any casualties, but many vehicles were damaged.
Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security) arrived at the scene to handle the incident.
The traffic collision caused a long traffic jam on the expressway, from the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway dau tay station to the National Highway 56 intersection. To reduce traffic congestion, the authorities guided vehicles to move to National Highway 1 to continue the journey.
