Students experience interviews and direct exchanges with businesses
On March 24, Phenikaa University organized the Phenikaa Career Fair 2026, gathering 73 domestic and foreign businesses in the fields of technology, manufacturing, services and international markets.
The event brought more than 5,000 job opportunities, internships and attracted more than 9,000 students to participate.
Not only stopping at receiving applications, this year's job fair creates opportunities for students to directly interview and exchange with businesses.
In the quick interview area, each exchange lasts about 10 minutes, focusing on the ability to handle situations and the level of readiness for real work. This form helps students have the opportunity to experience the recruitment process while still in school.
Participating in the interview, Nguyen Tuan Hung - a student of the Faculty of Business Administration, Phenikaa Economics School - said that the questions from the employer made him realize that the actual requirements are different from what is often encountered during the learning process.
When sitting directly opposite the recruiter, I realize that the recruiter not only asks for knowledge, but also cares a lot about how I think and handle the problem" - the male student shared.

In addition to interview activities, many businesses also introduce internship programs, job opportunities in the international environment, and expand career choices for students from an early age.
Creating a bridge for students to seize job opportunities
Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phu Khanh - Deputy Director of Phenikaa University - emphasized that the value of the festival is not only in the number of job opportunities, but more importantly in helping students understand the needs of businesses to compare with their own abilities.

The important thing is not only how many job opportunities there are, but that students understand what businesses need, and from there know what they need to prepare outside of the lecture hall" - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phu Khanh shared.
According to him, activities such as in-depth interviews, direct exchanges or career counseling not only help students access recruitment criteria early, but this is also a specific feedback channel for schools to adjust training content to be closer to actual needs.
From a management perspective, Dr. Tran Van Dat - Deputy Director of the Department of Students (Ministry of Education and Training) - said that networking events such as job fairs play an important role in narrowing the gap between training and the needs of the labor market.
The goal of higher education is not only to equip students with knowledge, but also to help them develop comprehensively in skills, qualities and adaptability, to meet the increasing demands of the labor market.
It is necessary to aim to promote the spirit of innovation of students. So that when they graduate, they can completely be proactive and confident to enter the working environment" - Dr. Tran Van Dat emphasized.
