Huawei ICT Competition is an annual ICT competition organized by Huawei for students majoring in information technology at universities and academies around the world.
With the theme "Connect, Glory, Future" and the slogan "I.C. The Future", the competition is held with the aim of creating an international competition and exchange platform for university and college students around the world, improving students' ICT knowledge and practical ability.
This is the third season of this prestigious technology competition held in Vietnam. This year, the organizers have expanded the training program on Computing, in addition to the Cloud Track and Network Track content implemented in the previous two seasons, to optimize new learning opportunities and useful knowledge for participating students.
Students will register to participate and experience courses on the most advanced ICT technologies such as AI (artificial intelligence), Bigdata (big data), 5G, cloud, security... from November 15 to December 12.
The final round in Vietnam will select 3 outstanding students to attend the Asia-Pacific regional round in Malaysia (expected in February 2025). They will then have the opportunity to attend the global final round in China (expected in May 2025).
At the global finals, Vietnamese students will have the opportunity to meet, interact, and compete with young talents around the world and interact with leading technology experts; have the opportunity to intern and work at Huawei Vietnam to expand their career development space.
At the global final round of the 2023-2024 season, the Vietnamese team (including 2 students Dang Phuong Khoi Nguyen - student of FPT University Da Nang and Nguyen Dac Phuc - student of University of Economics and Technology of Industry) competed excellently and won third prize in the Network Track content, surpassing more than 470 contestants from 160 teams from 49 countries and territories.
This is the second consecutive time that the Vietnamese team has participated and achieved high results in the global finals, affirming the capacity of Vietnamese students in the world knowledge arena.
