193 excellent candidates from 24 provinces and cities competed in 7 main groups (A, B, C1, C2, D1, D2, D3). In parallel, 86 candidates in the open round will compete in 3 groups (M1, M2, M3) with the content of toan thinking and algorithmic thinking.
Previously, the regional round attracted 2,318 contestants, an increase of 30% compared to 2024, including 1,432 independent contestants, for the first time more than the number of contestants in the provincial and municipal national teams. The exam locations in the North (Hanoi), Central (Da Nang) and South (HCMC) will receive a large number of candidates from different regions.

The closing and awarding ceremony will take place on the morning of August 10 in Hue City, livestreamed on the channels of the Central Youth Union for a large audience to watch.
