On May 6, the Department of Education and Training (DET) of District 7 issued a preparation plan for the competency assessment survey to Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School for the 2025-2026 school year.
According to the Department of Education and Training of District 7, the survey is expected to be held on May 31. Admittees are students who have completed their primary school program and are currently residing in the district with a score of 9 or higher on the final periodic test of the 5th grade in Vietnamese and Math.
Parents who want to register for the survey will register for the first-level entrance exam page: https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn/khaosatlopbquan7 from 8:00 a.m. on May 13 to before 5:00 p.m. on May 16 to enter information, download and print the application to the primary school they are studying at before 11:00 a.m. on May 17.
On May 22-24, parents received a survey card at the primary school they were studying in.
This is the second year that Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School has enrolled in grade 6 using a competency assessment survey test.
Last year, the survey exam for this school consisted of 2 parts. The multiple-choice part, 30 minutes with 20 multiple-choice questions in English on understanding natural science, social science and everyday life.
The essay section, 60 minutes, includes: Survey of English reading comprehension, writing, candidates doing tests in English; Survey of Mathematical and logical thinking ability, candidates doing tests in Vietnamese; Survey of reading comprehension and writing skills, candidates doing tests in Vietnamese.
Previously, Thu Duc City also announced the 6th grade enrollment plan using a competency assessment survey test to enter 3 secondary schools including Tran Quoc Toan 1, Hoa Lu and Binh Tho.
The survey exam in Thu Duc City is scheduled to be held on May 24. The results are expected to be announced on May 30, 2025.
