The Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen has just issued a notice on the National Day holiday in 2025 for cadres, teachers, workers and students of educational institutions in the whole province, based on the 2019 Labor Code and related documents of the Provincial People's Committee.
Accordingly, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the education sector, along with students at all levels (kindergarten, general education, continuing education), Hung Yen Specialized Education School and Thai Binh School for the Disabled will have a holiday from Saturday (August 30, 2025) to Tuesday (September 2, 2025). For units that do not implement a fixed holiday schedule on Saturdays and Sundays, based on the actual situation, arrange a suitable holiday schedule.
The Department of Education and Training requires educational institutions to strictly implement safety regulations during the holiday, disseminate to staff, teachers and students who comply with traffic safety laws, prevent social evils, and ensure security and order.
At the same time, strengthen propaganda on disease prevention and control, food safety, injury prevention, especially drowning; ensure safety in cyberspace and be ready to respond to unusual weather developments.
Units also need to fully prepare for the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026 on September 5, 2025, ensuring solemnity and safety. During the holiday, schools will hang national flags and banners according to regulations, assign duty schedules, coordinate with local authorities to ensure the safety of facilities and prevent fire and explosion. After the holiday, the whole industry has stabilized teaching and learning, returning to normal work.
