On August 22, at Nguyen Duc Canh Industrial Park, Hung Yen Provincial Labor Federation held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the Max World Vietnam handbag Company Limited's grassroots trade union. This is a meaningful activity, contributing to protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
Max World Vietnam Handbag Company Limited is a 100% foreign-owned enterprise, specializing in the production of backpacks and handbags for export. After a period of propaganda and mobilization, 82 workers and laborers voluntarily joined the Vietnam Trade Union.
At the ceremony, the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decision to establish a grassroots trade union, recognize 82 union members and introduce a provisional trade union executive committee of 5 members.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Pham Thi Thang - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation congratulated the collective of workers and enterprises for having an official Trade Union organization. Ms. Thang requested the Executive Board of the grassroots Trade Union to promptly assign tasks, organize activities to care for and protect the legitimate rights of union members; coordinate with the Board of Directors of the company to develop collective labor agreements, reward regulations, improve working conditions and the lives of workers.
The establishment of a grassroots Trade Union at Max World Vietnam Company not only contributes to protecting workers' rights but also promotes the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers", increases productivity and stabilizes employment and income for workers.
