On October 13, the Youth Union of Kien Giang Provincial Police coordinated with Rach Gia City Youth Union and the Board of Directors of Nguyen Trung Truc High School to organize the program "Step by step to school" associated with propaganda and dissemination of education on traffic order and safety.
Representatives of the Youth Union of Kien Giang Provincial Police conveyed the basic contents of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; the meaning of some common traffic signs; situations where students often violate traffic laws...
Thereby, it aims to strengthen legal education, raise awareness of self-compliance with the law on traffic order and safety among students; promote the role of students in voluntary activities to participate in ensuring traffic safety; expand and spread traffic culture to friends, relatives and the community, contributing to reducing traffic accidents related to school age.
This is also an activity to seriously and effectively implement Directive No. 31/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on strengthening the work of ensuring traffic order and safety for students in the new situation, during the peak month of ensuring traffic order and safety for students, from October 1 to 31.
On this occasion, the Youth Union of Kien Giang Provincial Police mobilized the Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Joint Stock Company to give 10 scholarships to 10 students in difficult circumstances, each worth 700,000 VND (including backpacks, notebooks and 500,000 VND in cash), and gave 1,200 gifts to students attending the program.
