In the early days at HTV, Phuc Nguyen faced no small pressure. The job was not only limited to hosting programs but also included fieldwork, writing news, editing images and completing products. The first news article in Can Gio, Nha Be was an important starting point, but it was not until he was assigned to host the program "Vươn khơi" on HTV1 that he truly made a personal mark.
In the role of editor - host, Phuc Nguyen is the only male face in the 6-person crew of the program "Vươn khơi". This is not only an opportunity to be on screen but also a test of adaptability, keeping pace and coordination in a highly professional program format.

After the news production stage, he continued to be given the opportunity to implement larger topics. The report "Returning to the countryside to celebrate Tet" in the special New Year's Eve news program is one of the breakthrough products. Taking on a separate topic for the first time, he not only showed his professional ability but also showed his ability to tell stories and handle long-term content.
The clearest mark in Phuc Nguyen's career is when participating in direct hosting the program "Ngan hoi Non song" on HTV9. At Phu An bridge point, he and his colleagues took on the hosting part in a large-scale event, with the participation of many senior leaders. This is the first time he has hosted a live program at HTV - a challenge that requires accuracy, bravery and situation control ability.
“The pressure is very high, because the program is the result of preparation by hundreds of people. If you don't do well from the first time, it will be very difficult to have the next opportunity,” he shared.
Not stopping at the country, Phuc Nguyen was also assigned to work in Laos during a working trip with a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City. This experience shows the increasing demands for a television editor: not only versatile but also independent enough to work in an international environment.
Looking back at the journey, Phuc Nguyen's mark is not in a specific position but expressed through each program he participated in, from "Vươn khơi" (Reaching out to the Sea), news bulletins to "Này hội Non sông" (River and Mountain Festival). For him, every opportunity, no matter how small, is a step forward.
Only when you cherish each small opportunity can you go further," Phuc Nguyen said.
