On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Pioneer Youth Team (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2026), on the morning of May 14, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union - Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union Council organized a Forum to gather children's opinions in 2026 with the participation of 100 team members and children representing many localities in the province.

The program is organized to create space for children to express their thoughts and aspirations, and at the same time equip more knowledge and skills for members of the Lao Cai Provincial Children's Council.
At the forum, the Organizing Committee announced the Decision to establish the Lao Cai Provincial Children's Council in 2026 and introduced members to participate in the Council.
This is considered an important bridge to help reflect the voice and legitimate needs of children to all levels and sectors; contributing to promoting children's right to participate in issues directly related to children.

The program atmosphere was lively with many practical training and skill exchange activities.
Children are guided by lecturers of the Faculty of Youth Affairs, Vietnam Youth Academy on children's rights, skills to represent children's voices, skills to survey, synthesize opinions and build recommendations.
Through group discussions, situation handling and communication practice, many children boldly shared their views on the school environment, cybersecurity, prevention of school violence, as well as wishing for more useful playgrounds for highland children.

According to the Organizing Committee, the organization of the forum not only helps children improve their confidence and skills in presenting opinions, but also contributes to forming proactive thinking to participate in social activities.
Thereby, building a safe and friendly learning and living environment and creating conditions for children to develop comprehensively.
Previously, within the framework of the program, on the afternoon of May 13, team members and children visited many red addresses in Yen Bai ward; offered incense at the Ho Chi Minh Statue, Nguyen Thai Hoc historical relic site and visited the museum.
The activity contributes to educating tradition, fostering patriotism and helping children understand more about local history.
The Forum to gather children's opinions in 2026 is a meaningful activity, showing the concern of the Youth Union and Team organizations for the work of caring for, educating and protecting children.
At the same time, the program also affirms the role, position and voice of children in today's social life.
