On August 30, FPT University, Can Tho branch, said that recently, at the graduation project protection ceremony of students, many impressive interdisciplinary products with the combination of technology - communication - practical business model received high appreciation from the Critical Council and businesses.
Accordingly, the project to develop a business plan for biological plastic products from kumquat peel has brought a solution to produce completely decomposable biological spoons from kumquat peel.
The project has met QUATEST 3 food safety standards, completed the small- to medium-sized production process, signed raw material supply contracts and invited cooperation from enterprises such as Mekong Silt, ECOKA. The project received a sponsorship of 50 million from the School and called for 2 million in Pre-seed capital, attracting more than 33,000 views.
Meanwhile, the ESG Coach & Practice Handbook project has built a set of standards and support tools to assess the level of sustainable development of the enterprise, combined with the 3Green model (Green Marketing, Green Product, Green Production). The implementation team has implemented real ESG consulting for businesses, reached more than 15,000 visits, expanded cooperation with green brands in the Mekong Delta, and received a grant of 50 million VND from FPT University.
Another outstanding project is Eco corn - a traditional profession, new value has taken advantage of corn shells - an often abandoned agricultural bypass - to create unique handicraft products. The project has sold more than 900 products, entered the Top 10 Startup Wheel Southeast Asia, successfully funded with 50 million VND from FPT University, appeared on major television channels and was invited to cooperate in ordering 4,000 products at INNOEX 2025.
Or the DreamAR project - Digital technology file develops a digital wedding invitation product line integrated with AR (Augmented reality) technology, bringing a lively, personalized and environmentally friendly wedding invitation experience. The project has been commercialized, with a revenue of more than 21 million VND, and a cooperation agreement was signed right at the protection session. At the same time, there are 6 international reports (IEEE, ICTA2025), organizing a large exhibition attracting hundreds of visitors.
At the end of the protection session, 34 "golden tickets" were presented, equivalent to 34 million VND to recognize their efforts and outstanding achievements throughout the project implementation process. In addition, the student groups received 16 actual orders from businesses, including 2 service packages that were directly ordered for ESG Coach & Practice and DreamAR projects.

In reality, many groups have had real orders, successfully raised capital, and were invited to cooperate by businesses right at the protection session. That is the result of a learning process associated with practice - something that the school always aims for.
