Activities to strengthen cooperation with domestic and international strategic partners, share knowledge, cooperation initiatives and develop common strategies in the fields of information technology, communications and digital economy.
The forum has the participation of organizations, associations, universities in the country and internationally, Southeast Asia, domestic and foreign businesses.
Representatives from the Korea International Cooperation Agency, the British Council and local government agencies shared experiences and discussed the role of education, technology and finance in promoting innovation and sustainable development.
In particular, on this occasion, the school and strategic partners officially exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Specifically, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communications Technology will cooperate with LG Electronics R&D Vietnam – Danang Branch Co., Ltd. to strengthen research, high-tech application and digital human resource development; Cooperate with the University of Northampton (UK) in joint research and student exchange.
The school will also cooperate with Cyber University of Foreign Languages (Korea) in the field of online training, Korean language education and cooperate with Hansikuen Co., Ltd (HSE) - a unit of the Korean Culinary Culture Association to jointly implement the program next April, expected to attract 10,000 participants in Da Nang City.
Mr. Tran The Son - Vice Principal of Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communications Technology - said that the current curriculum at the school is designed to suit the global workforce, close to business practices, enhancing foreign languages and soft skills for students. In addition, the programs also approach current science and technology trends such as: Semiconductors, AI, Fintech, Automotive Software Engineering.
To implement the above programs, cooperation with businesses is one of the important factors, supporting resources and finance for the school to ensure the best quality of training and research.
“Therefore, the organization of this workshop and signing ceremony with the participation of prestigious speakers in the field of innovation and startups at home and abroad, as well as the presence of many representatives of businesses, investors, and investment funds, brings many creative ideas, useful suggestions, and feasible solutions for the school as well as other higher education institutions across the country and related parties, effectively implementing innovation, cooperation, and startup activities in the coming time,” said Mr. Son.
