On March 28, information from the Management Board of Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone (EZ) said that the Job Fair phase 1 in 2026 at VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park achieved good results, contributing to effectively connecting labor supply and demand in the area.
Previously, on February 28, the Management Board of Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone coordinated with departments, agencies, branches and localities to organize the Job Fair, attracting a large number of workers, students, and pupils to participate.

The event has 20 participating businesses with recruitment demand of up to 71,000 job positions. Of which, unskilled labor accounts for about 93%, and the rest are office, technical and management positions.
The festival attracted 2,170 participants, including 900 students and 1,270 freelancers. 1,369 people were consulted and oriented in their careers, including 823 trained workers and 546 unskilled workers.
Notably, about 80% of the dossiers of trained workers have foreign language proficiency.
After the festival, as of March 15, 2026, businesses have recruited 4,403 workers, reaching 6.2% of the total demand, mainly general labor, in addition to some positions requiring college and university degrees.
According to the Management Board of Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone, to achieve the above results, organization and propaganda work has been deployed synchronously, with more than 300 banners and flags in localities; information is widely spread on digital platforms and grassroots communication systems.
Many universities, colleges, and high schools have coordinated and mobilized nearly 900 final year students to participate.
However, there is still a gap between the recruitment needs of businesses and the expectations of workers. A part of workers still has a mentality of comparing income with other localities, so they are not ready to apply.
In the coming time, relevant units will continue to promote communication, strengthen career counseling, expand recruitment channels on digital platforms and organize mobile job transaction sessions to improve the efficiency of job creation.
