From October 9th to 10th, on the occasion of the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay Tet of Cambodia, a delegation of the Border Guard Command of Lam Dong province led by Colonel Pham Xuan Do - Deputy Commander cum Chief of Staff - visited and wished Tet to the armed forces of Mondulkiri province.
The delegation visited and wished Tet to units including the Police Department, Military Sub-region and the Mondulkiri Provincial Gendarmerie Command in a joyful and warm atmosphere before the New Year.

At the working sessions, Colonel Pham Xuan Do sent best New Year wishes to officers and soldiers of friendly forces; wishing the units a new year of good health, happiness, and successful completion of assigned tasks.
At the same time, he affirmed that the traditional solidarity and friendship between units and the Border Guard of Lam Dong province is constantly being consolidated and developed, becoming an important foundation in performing the task of managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and maintaining security and order in border areas.
Emphasizing the coordinating role between forces, Colonel Pham Xuan Do requested friendly units to continue to strengthen information exchange with the Border Guard of Lam Dong province about the situation related to the activities of all kinds of crimes on the border line, especially acts of crossing the border and illegal entering.
Through this, the two sides promptly agreed on policies and measures to effectively combat and prevent, contributing to maintaining security and order in the border area.
Representatives of the leaders of the Police Department, Military Sub-region and the Command of the Gendarmerie of Mondulkiri province expressed their joy in welcoming the working delegation; and thanked the good feelings and New Year greetings that the delegation had given to the units.
Leaders of friendly units also affirmed that they will continue to closely coordinate with the Border Guard of Lam Dong province in border management and protection; maintain the effectiveness of information exchange mechanisms, bilateral patrols, strict management of border lines and landmarks; control and fight against all kinds of crimes.
Along with that, the two sides continue to promote propaganda and mobilize people in border areas to strictly comply with legal documents on borders, cooperation agreements between the Governments of the two countries and laws of each country; strengthen friendly exchanges, contributing to maintaining peace, stability and sustainable development in the border area.
