On July 11, the Vinh Long Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the Can Tho City Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital and Saigon - Ben Tre Trading Co., Ltd. to organize a humanitarian blood donation day at Sense City Ben Tre Trade Center (An Hoi ward).
The program attracted a large number of officials, employees, workers, and business units operating at the shopping center to register to participate. Many customers who came to visit and shop also responded, contributing to spreading the act of blood donation to save people in the community.
At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee received 137 units of 350ml bags of blood, supplementing the reserve blood source for emergency and treatment work at medical facilities in the area.
The activity is implemented according to the plan of the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Vinh Long province, aiming to spread the message "One drop of blood given - One life left behind", raising community awareness about the meaning of voluntary blood donation and sharing for patients.
