On April 14, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that on April 13, 2026, the police force of units and localities in the area simultaneously organized many propaganda, dissemination, and legal education activities with practical content, flexible forms, and strongly towards grassroots levels.
Activities focus on practical issues such as drug prevention, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, network security and crime prevention skills. The target audience is students, union members, association members and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.
In Phuc Loi commune, more than 175 delegates participated in the legal propaganda conference held at the Ban Chang village cultural house.
The content focuses on criminal law regulations, drug prevention and crime prevention against child abuse, helping people raise vigilance and proactively protect themselves and their families.
In Khanh Hoa commune, the "Safe Traffic School Gate" model was launched with the participation of a large number of teachers and students. Through this activity, awareness of traffic law compliance, safe traffic participation skills and contents on drug prevention and fire prevention are vividly conveyed, suitable for the age group.
Propaganda work in schools continues to be promoted in many localities. The Professional and Extraordinary Technical Department of the Provincial Police in coordination with the Traffic Police force and Hung Khanh Commune Police have organized propaganda and guided safe driving skills for about 1,300 students, and presented 30 helmets.
In Bac Ha commune, fire prevention and fighting models in the community are effectively implemented such as "Family safety groups for fire prevention and fighting", "Public fire fighting points".
Through socialized sources, hundreds of fire extinguishers have been equipped for people, especially poor households and policy families, accompanied by instructions on situation handling skills.
Along with that, in Hanh Phuc, Thuong Bang La, Muong Lai communes... thousands of students and officials and teachers participated in extracurricular legal propaganda sessions with diverse contents, from traffic safety, drug prevention to fire prevention and fighting and rescue skills.
Notably, the programs have helped students clearly identify new types of drugs, understand the harms and be equipped with prevention skills. Many children have also become "young propagandists", contributing to spreading positive messages in the community.
Reality shows that bringing the law closer to the people through visual and easy-to-understand forms has contributed to creating a clear change in awareness and action. People not only grasp the regulations but also raise the awareness of self-discipline in compliance and proactively prevent violations.
Thereby, continuing to affirm the core role of the Police force in advising, organizing propaganda and building the "All people protect national security" movement from the grassroots level.
