The Fair is an annual fair organized by Striped Project with the aim of raising awareness among young people about the state of the environment as well as creating recycling habits.
Phe Hour 2024 is organized with a recycling fair model combined with fun and entertainment activities. Environmentally friendly handmade items and game areas are all made and recycled from materials collected during the pre-event of Luom Day. Along with that, there will be activities that nurture the soul such as music or art to help participants feel truly attached and love the work of protecting the environment. The funds raised from Phe Hour 2024 will be donated by the project to disadvantaged children in the highlands, as a gift to support, encourage their spirit and light up their dreams.
Founded by a group of high school students in Hanoi in June 2015, Striped Project members - a recycling project - realized the serious waste of paper today. The project was carried out with the aim of using that excess paper to create useful items in daily life - such as notebooks and books - to donate to children in difficult circumstances who have little opportunity to access adequate learning conditions.
Unlike a regular fair, Phe Hour is organized under the model of a recycling fair combined with entertainment activities. Here, participants not only experience making handmade items from recycled materials, participate in a series of booths with various exciting activities, but also enjoy unique cultural and artistic programs from art clubs in Hanoi.
This year, Phe Hour is set in a magical penguin town in the middle of the cold Antarctic, visitors here also have the opportunity to directly experience the manual recycling process and many interesting games. From there, Striped Project hopes to send the message: nature always awaits many mysteries that we cannot decipher, but by living in harmony, cherishing nature, spreading awareness to preserve and "heal" the environment by recycling waste, scrap paper, bottles and supporting global action campaigns so that the key to open the door to a magical world like Frostie town will be firmly in everyone's hands.
The event will be held at Dong Da Secondary School - 28 Luong Dinh Cua, Dong Da, Hanoi from 8:00 to 18:00 on November 24, 2024.
