Within the framework of the 2026 Technology and Recruitment Exhibition Day held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology on May 7, 2026, it brought 6,689 job positions and internships from 179 businesses for students in many fields. Through direct connection, the festival helps students access employers, improve competitiveness and seek opportunities to enter a professional working environment.
According to statistics from the organizers, recruitment demand is diverse but strongly concentrated in the Economic sector (Finance - Trade, Business Administration) with more than 3,740 positions, accounting for nearly 56% of the total demand. Large financial and banking organizations are actively searching for candidates for positions such as consultants, transaction officers, customer relations specialists and sales staff.
The Engineering - Science - Technology block also recorded a large demand for human resources with 1,767 job positions, accounting for more than 26%. This is a group of industries that maintains stable attraction in the context of digital transformation, focusing on positions of engineers, technicians, programmers, and professional analysts. Next, the Marketing - Communication and Tourism - Service block contributed more than 1,100 targets, equivalent to 16% of the recruitment picture. From a business perspective, Mr. Nguyen Hieu Nghia - Head of Recruitment Department, Transcosmos Vietnam Company assessed that this year's festival was organized very professionally and attracted a large number of students to participate. "The most impressive thing is that the students proactively prepared CVs, learned about the job and exchanged clearly about the development roadmap, helping businesses connect and recruit more effectively," said Mr. Nguyen Hieu Nghia.
On the student side, the event is an important practical experience. Student Doan Phuc Son (4th year student, Business Administration major) shared that he proactively prepared his application and learned about the business information in advance. "No matter what the interview results are, the experiences at the festival will help me understand my abilities, accumulate experience to be more confident when entering the labor market," Son acknowledged.
