Lao Cai - In addition to the task of maintaining security and order, Tan Linh and Gia Phu commune police actively help people repair houses and give gifts to people in difficult circumstances.

On May 2nd, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that in response to the "Three Bests" emulation movement in the People's Police force, in the past time, the Police of Tan Linh and Gia Phu communes have implemented many practical activities, contributing to building the image of police officers who are close to the people and stick to the people.

In Tan Linh commune, on the morning of May 2, 2026, the Commune Police mobilized 10 turns of officers and soldiers and grassroots security forces to coordinate with the Commune Military Command and people of village 3 to support the family of Mr. Hoang Van Tinh (born in 1983) to dismantle the house for repair.

Mr. Tinh's family is policy beneficiaries, affected by Agent Orange, and is in difficult circumstances. The 3-compartment stilt house with a kitchen area of more than 100 m2 has seriously deteriorated, posing a potential safety risk.

Faced with that situation, the Commune Police force and other support forces dismantled materials, moved furniture, cleaned up the ground, creating conditions for the family to soon renovate their residence.

The activity not only provides practical assistance to a difficult household but also demonstrates the spirit of responsibility and attachment of the grassroots police force to the people, contributing to consolidating the military-civilian solidarity relationship and building a solid security posture from the area.

Previously, in the atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), on the morning of April 30, the Women's Union and the Youth Union of Gia Phu Commune Police organized a program to visit and give gifts to patients being treated at the "Dialysis Village" on Chieng On street, Cam Duong ward.

Here, the police force presented 30 gifts with a total value of 15 million VND to patients in difficult circumstances.

Although the material value is not large, the gifts carry timely sharing and encouragement, contributing to adding motivation for patients to feel secure in treatment.

Along with giving gifts, officers and soldiers also directly visited, talked, and encouraged the spirit of patients.

Simple gestures such as holding hands and sincere greetings have partly helped ease difficulties and spread the spirit of compassion in the community.

According to Lao Cai Provincial Police, the above activities are clear evidence of the concretization of the "Three Bests" emulation movement, especially the "closest to the people" criterion.

Through this, the image of the Police soldier is not only associated with the task of maintaining security and order but is also a reliable support for the People in daily life.

In the coming time, the Police of Tan Linh and Gia Phu communes will continue to promote their core role, proactively coordinate with departments, branches, and local unions to implement social security activities, pay attention to and support policy families and households in difficult circumstances, contributing to building the People's Police force to serve the People, maintaining the people's security posture from the grassroots level.
