Every weekend, the community bookstore in Bac Thanh Mien commune (Hai Phong city) opens its doors to welcome people to read books, study documents and spread the spirit of learning and sharing.
Located along Provincial Road 392C, in Vinh Mo village, Bac Thanh Mien commune (Hai Phong city), Vinh Mo community bookstore is not only a unique cultural address in the peaceful countryside, but also a familiar knowledge meeting place for local people and neighboring communes every weekend.
The project is impressively designed in a hexagonal shape, 3 floors high, located in a spacious, green campus with a garden and swimming pool system to create a feeling of closeness and relaxation. The first floor is a place to display hundreds of ancient radios with all kinds and famous brands in the world - a rare collection, rich in collectible value.

The second floor is a library space with more than 10,000 books and magazines in many different fields, arranged scientifically, convenient for research. The third floor preserves the relics, documents and achievements of the family of Mr. Vu Van Hien - former member of the Party Central Committee, former General Director of the Voice of Vietnam - founder and companion in building this bookstore.
According to the rules listed at the entrance, the bookstore was established with the goal of promoting the reading culture in the community, arousing the spirit of learning, especially in the younger generation, to create a solid foundation of knowledge to contribute to building the homeland and the country. The bookstore operates non-profit, open free of charge on weekends and creates all favorable conditions for readers to visit, study and research.

Not only attracting people in Bac Thanh Mien commune, the bookstore has also become a familiar destination for many students, staff and the elderly in neighboring areas. Books, newspapers, magazines, documents, comics... are clearly classified according to each topic and topic; the number of documents is also continuously updated, supplemented, enriching the knowledge base to serve the community.
In addition to the reading space, the bookstore campus also has many outdoor exercise equipment, becoming a healthy and useful community activity place for people - especially in the afternoons.
