After a week of operation according to the modern "one-stop" model, the Tu Minh Ward Public Administration Service Center (Hai Phong City) has received and processed more than 150 records from people and organizations. The main procedures are in the fields of certification, civil status, finance - planning, culture - society, infrastructure - construction, social insurance... along with a number of other administrative procedures.
According to initial records, the handling of documents at the Center took place quickly, in accordance with procedures, ensuring legal regulations. People coming to do the procedures are enthusiastically guided, without having to wait long. The team of civil servants and public employees working here demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, a civilized and professional service attitude, and were positively evaluated by the people.
The Public Administration Center model at the ward level is considered a clear step forward in local administrative reform, contributing to increasing publicity, transparency, shortening the time for handling procedures and facilitating people in the process of handling work related to state agencies.
In the coming time, the Center will continue to be completed and upgraded with an information technology system to ensure stable connection and quick connectivity between departments and specialized agencies. At the same time, the ward also plans to organize training courses on skills and professional skills for cadres and civil servants working directly at the Center, in order to further improve the quality of service.
Tu Minh ward currently has a natural area of 14.77 km2 and a population of about 30,416 people. This is a locality formed on the basis of merging the entire Cam Doai commune, part of Tu Minh ward (old Hai Duong city) and part of Lai Cach town (old Cam Giang district).
The effective implementation of Public Administration Centers in areas with large population is a positive sign, contributing to helping people quickly adapt to the 2-level urban government model after the merger.
