As part of a series of activities to celebrate Binh Ngo Spring 2026 and celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Party, Tan Hung ward (HCMC) organized the "Celebrating Binh Ngo Spring - Celebrating the Glorious Party" Festival with a vibrant and humane atmosphere.
The festival takes place with a series of unique cultural activities, fully recreating the Vietnamese Tet space. From the "Spring Corner" decoration contest, neighborhood offices to beautifying alleys according to the "Green - Clean - Beautiful" criteria, all have created a new and vibrant face for the locality.

The highlight attracting a large number of people is the competition to wrap and cook banh chung, banh tet, decorate apricot and peach branches. The cakes wrapped by the hands of many generations not only evoke the origin of the nation but also warm up village and neighborhood affection right in the heart of a dynamic city.

Not only stopping at entertainment activities, social security work is the "center" of the festival. Mr. Nguyen Duc Tri, Chairman of Tan Hung Ward People's Committee, affirmed that the locality always strives for the quality of life and the satisfaction of the people, taking the spirit of solidarity as strength to build the ward to be increasingly civilized and meaningful.
Since the beginning of 2026, the ward has mobilized impressive funding. Units in the area have supported the ward's social security care fund with nearly 1.6 billion VND. The ward also presented many Tet gifts to households in difficult circumstances in the area, including: 773 Tet gifts directly presented to difficult households; 400 sets of ao dai "Sharing love" and more than 100 gifts "0-dong booth".

In particular, banh tet and banh chung cakes wrapped and cooked by officials, civil servants, teachers and people themselves have been handed over to the people. This is a simple gift but contains the full heart and responsibility of the community for those in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan (resident of Tan Hung ward) expressed that the "Celebrating Binh Ngo Spring - Celebrating the Glorious Party" Festival is not only a Tet celebration event, but also a testament to a connected Tan Hung ward, where the joy of Spring always blends with the spirit of mutual affection, ensuring "everyone, every family has Tet".
