On December 30, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with the People's Committee of Bac Tan Uyen commune to organize a book handover ceremony for grassroots levels in the area in 2025.
This is the 7th year that Ho Chi Minh City has deployed the provision and supplementation of theoretical, political, and traditional education books for the grassroots level. Previously, the Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with publishing houses to select and provide publications of quality and value in both theory and practice, belonging to the Party's ideological foundation protection bookcase to equip the grassroots level.
In 2025, the Department of Culture and Sports equipped an additional 10,602 books, including 3 categories with 142 titles including: books on political theory, ideology, morality, Ho Chi Minh style and revolutionary tradition education; documents disseminating policies, laws and management skills at the grassroots level; books on youth and children's education, literature, history and life skills.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, equipped books are official documents, contributing to enriching the source of books at the grassroots level. Equipping will meet the needs of officials, party members and people to learn, study and improve their knowledge; and at the same time improve the capacity and work efficiency of grassroots officials.
