Every evening at the beginning of April, at the Interim Training Battalion (Command of the Border Guard Command of Quang Ngai province), the atmosphere in the barracks is more bustling than usual. In the warm lights, 30 new soldiers who were born in the first quarter of 2026 gathered around a birthday cake, receiving congratulations from officers, comrades and local youth union members. "Homegrown" art performances, connection games and small gifts created a close and warm atmosphere of comradeship.
For new soldiers, especially those who are away from their families for the first time for a long time, the collective birthday party at the unit is of special significance. This activity not only brings joy, but also is timely encouragement, helping soldiers reduce homesickness, and feel more secure in studying, training, and training in the military environment.
