During the peak month of ensuring traffic safety for school-age children, the entire city of Hanoi handled 6,037 violations and temporarily detained 2,928 vehicles of all kinds.

According to the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police, after 3 weeks of implementing a peak campaign to ensure traffic safety for school-age children, Hanoi has recorded positive changes in awareness among students. However, many parents still do not comply with the law.

A representative of the Traffic Police Team No. 5 (Hanoi City Police) said that through the peak period of ensuring traffic safety for school-age children, students' awareness of obeying the Traffic Law has been significantly improved, and violations have decreased significantly. However, some parents still do not strictly comply when driving their children, running red lights, not wearing helmets...

According to statistics, from October 1 to October 22, Hanoi City Police handled 6,037 cases of traffic law violations among students, temporarily detaining 2,928 vehicles of all kinds.

Of these, 5,303 cases of helmet violations occurred, 1,092 cases of students driving vehicles when they were not qualified to drive, 338 cases of parents and vehicle owners handing over vehicles to unqualified drivers were handled. 3,370 cases of students violating the Traffic Law were verified and a list was made to send a notice to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
