Hero" earns over 31 billion VND, crew reveals impressive film scene

After more than a week in theaters, the movie "Hero" recorded a total revenue of more than 31 billion VND, as of the afternoon of May 2.

With a duration of 122 minutes, the film chooses a different direction when exploiting the theme of family and workers in urban settings, instead of chasing purely entertainment elements.

The film is directed by Vo Thach Thao, telling the story of a single father Tran Anh Hung (played by Thai Hoa) who works as a taxi driver, facing financial pressure when his daughter is seriously ill and needs high treatment costs. From that situation, the character is drawn into difficult choices, creating a storyline that is ordinary but full of conflicts.

According to the crew, one of the notable highlights of the film is the explosion scene - considered a "key" emotional segment. This scene not only marks a turning point for the main character but is also elaborately invested in, with many technical details to increase authenticity.

A film production representative said that using real fire scenery is a somewhat risky choice, but necessary to create visual and emotional effects for viewers.

Notably, actor Thai Hoa performed many dangerous scenes himself, including scenes of climbing and moving at high altitudes with ropes. The male actor said that he accepted collisions and minor injuries during filming to ensure the continuity of the film scene. However, according to sharing, the most difficult scenes are not in action but in expressing the inner emotions of the character when facing the risk of losing their child.

Besides the main line, the film also builds a system of supporting characters including ordinary workers with many different circumstances. These characters contribute to expanding the social context, while creating more emotional layers for the story. The crew said that building everyday relationships is one of the important orientations of the project.

Despite achieving positive revenue, the movie "Hero" is also recorded to have a slow pace at the beginning, focusing heavily on building the setting and character psychology before pushing up the drama in the second half. Director Vo Thach Thao explained that this choice is to help the audience understand the circumstances and motives of the characters, thereby increasing the effectiveness for climactic situations.

Currently, the movie "Hero" is still being screened in cinemas nationwide.
