In the second round of the "Shining Stars" program, singer Doan Dai Hoa made a strong impression with the song "Rock Spring" full of personality and energy.
Doan Dai Hoa received a perfect score of 10 from the three judges and became the singer with the highest score in the second solo round of the show.
Despite his impressive achievements, the male singer still modestly said that he was just luckier than the other singers, because everyone performed well in their performances. However, few people know that before Doan Dai Hoa "shone" in the talent round, the male singer had serious health problems when he was sick to the point of almost losing his voice.
Singer Doan Dai Hoa revealed: “Five days before the exam, I had a sore throat, coughed a lot and almost lost my voice. At that time, I was extremely confused because I didn’t know if I would be able to get my voice back by the exam day. So during those days of taking care of my voice, I practiced very little even though the exam day was getting closer.”
But it was also because of this difficulty that the male singer came up with the idea of singing in a unique way to renew the song.
During the Spring of At Ty 2025, singer Doan Dai Hoa still maintains the tradition of returning to his hometown before Tet to visit his family and returning to Ho Chi Minh City to serve the audience like every year. Although he has celebrated Tet away from home for many years, the male singer still cannot help but miss home.
However, when staying in Ho Chi Minh City to perform for audiences far from home, Doan Dai Hoa also felt the nostalgia in everyone's eyes.
The male singer confided: “Over the years, celebrating Tet away from home, I always miss my family and friends. Even though I returned before Tet, that feeling still hasn’t gone away. Staying in the city to perform for my grandmother far from home, I also feel that in everyone’s eyes and the singing that brings everyone closer together, the New Year greetings from strangers also warm everyone’s heart.”
