Singer Khac Minh revealed a very special keepsake - an old lucky money envelope that he has kept for more than 15 years.
He said that his parents gave him this lucky money envelope when he graduated from grade 12, with wishes for good luck and career advancement. For him, this is a lucky souvenir, a symbol of family love, and a source of positive energy.
Every Tet holiday, Khac Minh cherishes this souvenir as a way to remember the milestones in his career path.
In his artistic journey, there were challenges and failures in the early stages. However, overcoming all of them, Khac Minh still maintained his determination on the path he chose. In addition to being a singer, he also ventured into the business field.
For an artist, the greatest happiness is to stand on stage, especially in the first days of the new year. However, despite his busy work schedule, Khac Minh always gives special priority to his family during Tet. “I want to spend that special day with my family, to make my parents happy,” he confided.
Although sometimes he cannot refuse programs for fear of missing out on opportunities to interact with the audience, Khac Minh still tries to arrange to balance work and family.
He shared: "No matter what I do, if I have to perform on New Year's Eve, I always have to be home at 7-8am on the first morning to reunite with my family."
For Khac Minh, the first day of Tet is always an important time for the whole family to gather, wish each other a happy new year and give lucky money to each other. His greatest joy is seeing familiar faces radiant and happy on the first day of the new year.
He shared: “For me, the first day of Tet is always special. Seeing the faces of my family, the radiance and happiness of everyone is enough to make me feel incredibly excited.”
